Through the management of the insurance proprietary assets of the Swiss Life group, Swiss Life Asset Management has acquired a robust experience and skills in interest rate management.
The Fixed Income Team has implemented a comprehensive structured investment process on credit and government bond funds. Risk management is a key topic in this process.
Swiss Life Asset Management has also developed a performing range of money market funds, and is now recognized as a major player in this market segment with more than 3 billion euros of assets under management.
A strong expertise on « niche » products
Swiss Life Asset Management has no ambition to be a global player. On the contrary it has a niche player developing strategy aiming at being an expert on some specific segments of the asset management industry.
During the last 2 years, the Fixed Income Team has reinforced its positionning on 3 particular segments:
- Inflation linked funds with two complementary and original products
- Yield oriented products backed on high yield and financial bonds expertise
- Interest rate arbitrage funds
